Yes Ngairedith they have, so have we and we are on the verge of giving up and this is our last try. There is just not any information concerning him at all. Thought I would get the birth certificates for his children first and last but nothing We have found a few things but nothing to trace him back to Ayrshire. Have joined most sites but no one else has research him either. Tried finding Miller as well and he is just as elusive. Have paid researchers and nothing came up.

Up date. I decided that getting no where with David Earl Lindsay I would try another approach. What I did was apply for intentions to marry and found that Both Lindsays wife and Miller had come in on the same day as they said they had been in NZ for one day. So that gave us Mary McGlashan who had married Miller. Now for Elizabeth's father she gave James so we had her tree wrong. What we did then was to find out where Miller had come from and he comes from Barrhead Reufrewshire in Scotland so I got on to this small village and asked the council for any information on DEL and W Miller but they could not find a thing. Now knowing that Miller did come from here as we have his whole history now and time line as we have Mary's there is still no mention of a boat. Mary came from Scotland too- Parish of Midlothia Edinburgh. The intention to marry 2/Sept 1856) have DEL and WM arriving three weeks before the girls but there are no boats that we can find them on. If any one has the arrival of boats August /Sept 1856 to Wellington I would like to know if these two men were on it please.
Any one who can help with the family of Elizabeth Brown who has a father the name of James Elizabeth was born in new Castle England on the 12 Oct 1838
