My father George Henry McLean was one of 10 siblings born around 1911, in Liscard UK. Does anyone know the whereabouts of family inc siblings (there were 10 children)?

Question by Josephine1950

His mother was a Frenchwoman named Marguerite Masiere (maiden name) and his father was Jack McLean (family from Inverness). Jack was a decorater who assisted in painting New Brighton pier. Did my grandmother Margueritte really come from France without speaking English and where did she meet Jack McLean (also known as John?).
I am living in New Zealand and intend travelling through the UK and Europe so any tips on whereabouts of family may be, will be gratefully received.

My mother Kathleen Mary McLean (nee Evanson) and my father George Henry McLean emigrated with myself and brother Paul and sister Judith, to New Zealand in 1956 - arriving on board the Captain Cook in Wellinton.

Hi Josephine - my name is Jane and I am related to you via my paternal uncle Terry who was your sister's husband. I am creating the family tree but can't get many records from NZ. Are you willing to share info with me? If so I will send you a private message with questions!
