Looking for information regarding John F. Funk born 1849 Iowa married Roena H. Thompson December 19, 1872. She married Silas Beem January 4, 1886 in McPherson Kansas so something happened to John. John's Father was born in Pennsylvania, Mother in Ohio. I never new any of my Father's family excepting my Uncle. They knew little about their Father as he died when the boys were young. I have searched numerous Funk leads in Pennyslvania and Iowa with no ties to my line. My Father was contacted years ago by a Funk relative in Canada working on the family genealogy. I only wish I had been more interested at the time. My Father told me some of the family lived in Canada.
