My husband is David Gurnhill. He is the youngest of three children to George and Winifred Gurnhill. George and Winifred emigrated to Australia after WW2. George was born to Charles Benjamin Gurnhill and Ada Gurnhill (nee Gee) of Nottingham England on 17th October 1915. George passed away on 10th October 1989 at St. George Hospital, Kogarah, Sydney, NSW, Australia.

David's parents didn't talk much about their families. George was one of a number of children. Some of which died during the war. We would like to find out if there are any relatives around as we are going to England in August 2008 and would like to meet any that are interested.

There was also some suggestion that a line of the Gurnhill family came from Canada and are curious about that??
