Looking for ancestors and descendents of Thomas Hannigan, born in
Ireland and husband of Mary Crowley. Best information is that he
immigrated to North America in mid 19th century, amybe as late as
circa 1870-1880, via Canada. He and or his sons moved to Western
Massachusetts (Athol, Montague, Springfield, and surrounds).

Thomas Hannigan's son John was also born in Ireland and died May 14,
1896 in Montague, MA. John was married to Mary (or Mary Margaret)
Alice Lyons), who was born in 1829 and died January 10, 1896.

My great grandfather was John Hannigan's son, Thomas David Hannigan, born October 1, 1857 in Montague, Massahusetts, and died October 10, 1896. (Don't know the significance -- if any -- of father, mother and son dying in same year.) Thomas David Hannigan married Delphina Mary Gravel on February 10, 1891 in Montague, Massachusetts.
