Whipple/Whippo

James Whipple, changed to Whippo, b. 1667, in Barnstable, Mass. Decendant Mary said to have "Indian blood" or "Indian ways about her" by family legend. She was born in Hagerstown, MD to James' grandson, George, and his wife Sussanna Osborn. Any family links, especially with anything to substantiate the Native American legend, would be helpful. I would also like to find James' parents, et. al.

They lived in Ed in her home parish. He came to America and returned to Sweden twice. I have no death record for either of them. Levin/Levine/Leo and Edlund/Glader from Sweden

I am researching the Levin/Levine/Leo and Edlund/Glader families from Sweden. They both settled in central PA. August (Leo - his "soldier" surname) Levin emigrated first in 1880 to Iron Mountain, Michigan, only to apparently die two years later -- before sending for the rest of his family. I would love to find more info on him in particular.
