Hi Just to put the record straight JIM is the eldest son of Reginald "Reg" and Eline "Lee"

Unfortunately James Robert Shoesmith and Ethel "Nana" are not in the Hastings Cemertary.
apart from a mention on Samuel"s grave stone Lettering had fallen off. The grave stone has been restored by Ian Brooking since

Samuel was a son of Samuel Brooking & Elizabeth Rundle. He married Ethel Charlotte Zachan (1889-1976) in 1913. They had a son on 10 March 1918, Reginald Samuel Brooking, who was 8 months old when Samuel died on 21 Nov 1918. He is buried at Hastings. Ethel next married James Robert Shoesmith (1885-1973) in 1921. They too are at Hastings cemetery

I presume you are a descendant of Reginald and Eline 'Lee'
