Seeking any family members of Jane SHAW's siblings
My maternal Granny Jane SHAW: father William SHAW 1812-1885 born Tipperary & Mary Jordan 1820-1885. Both died at Harrow. I believe Jane had 7 siblings, William, James, Mary Ann, Margaret, Ellen, Bridget Amelia & Catherine. Hopefully any descendants of these may have photos of Jane's childhood etc,also maybe newspaper clippings etc.
Jane married Henry Wiliam Burns. Then having been widowed with 3 young children, married John Francis Pretlove.
My father Gordon Henry urns was from her 1st marriage.
Do any PRETLOVE ( John ) family members have photos of Granny Jane, & her 3 children from marriage to Henry William Buns ?
My father Gordon Henry BURNS was only a baby when his mother was widowed. Other siblings were Mary Burns(Wilks)& Henry William Burns. I have never seen a photo of Granny Jane & only me her once as a small child. Likewise I have never seen any childhood photos of my Dad Gordon.
Photo was taken at Aunty Mary's 80th birthday a Benayeo. It shows Mary, Gordon, Lilian & the Pretlove brothers, Harry, Perc. & George.
I would appreciate so much if any photos are still around.
Birthplace of Josephine Alphonse SHAW.
I only know she was born in 1903 in ? Victoria. Her parents John Francis SHAW & Ellen GALLAGHER were married in the RC church in Hamilton, Victoria & at a later stage lived in Mount Gambier. I'm interested to know where in Victoria & if perhaps the family moved elsewhere before moving to Mount Gambier. She was later the 1st wife of my father Gordon Henry BURNS, born in Edenhope, Victoria. They were married in 04/02/1920 & lived in Mount Gambier until she passed away in St Vincent's hospital, Melbourne, Victoria.
Any small missing detail appreciated as it fills in significant part of my father's life too.

My father GORDON HENRY BURNS was born in Edenhope Victoria. I'm interested to know of newspapers in the 1800s from the Edenhope, Harrow district, or any other source of information of the life of those times.I know many old newspapers have been "digitalized" but have no idea what they were called.

His father Henry William Burns was born in Boston Lincolnshire in 1832 arrived in SA about 1850.
He married Helen Bell May (born in ? Scoland ) at Hynam 13 January then selected land around Edenhope.My grandfather Henry Wiliam 1857-1888 was the first of 10 children. I have only 8 listed.
I am very keen to know more about them, also any information about life in those times, i.e from 1850s.

William Shaw & Mary Jordan: Burns family history
Like to find information about my great-grandparents William Shaw born 1779 Tipperary Ireland & Mary Jordan born19/03/1820 Wexford Ireland. They married Geelong Victoria 1841 I believe. Possibly William was a seaman ? Anyway would be great to know something of their early years in Ireland & wherever they landed & lived on arrival in Australia. Both died in 1885 & are buried in Harrow Victoria.
