Looking for the parents of THOMAS HYNES, born in Liverpool, England 1840

PICKERING, Olwyn Carol died 12/1/1922 aged about 15 months, in Mildura,Victoria. Her parents were Lilian Carol (McGinniskin) and Joshua Charles Pickering. She was buried in my great grandfather's grave (Thomas Hynes) who died in 1921. Can anyone shed
any light on this intriguing find?
Information on a Caroline Davis, possibly born in Quebec around 1840.
Caroline was an army school mistress and married Thomas Hynes who was in the British Army. They had 12 children, one of whom, Arthur George, was my grandfather.
