Many Thanks. My wife's grandfather, Edward Allen Jagoe, was born in Clifton New Brunswick, Canada in 1864. According to some info we have, his father, my wifes great grandfather, Arthur Baldwin Jago according to some info we have was born somewhere around Cork Ireland around 1836 (Not Confirmed yet).We have not been able to determine if he ever did come to Canada. We are not sure if the Arthur Baldwin Jago you have identified can be another individual by the same name. The dates do not seem to indicate they were.Anyway thanks again & we will keep looking.

Good Morning,
I was idly roaming through genealogy items when I saw Ireland.. haha Of course, I was immediately taken with your call for help. I looked at the 1881 Census of Canada here I found:
Arthur Jagoe age 45
Mary Ann Jogoe age 42
Esther 23
John A 19
Edward A 17
Elizabeth A 15
Rebecca 10
Frances C 7
Alice M 4
Mary E 2 ***
Caroline M 3 months
Province of New Brunswick, District Gloucester, Sub Districk C, Subdistrict New Brandon
Irish Farmer and Stone Cutter
Church of England
*** Mary E Jagoe was listed before the head of the household so I checked it out and yes she belongs with this family as the previous page ended with a family named Smith.
Further checking showed that Arthur was indeed born in Ireland but no note as to a city.
Mary Ann the wife, was born in New Brunswick as were all the children.
Hope I have helped you in some way daisyhalo@yahoo.com
ps this would indicate that Arthur Jagoe came to Canda previous to the birth of the first child, if that is of any help. I would guess at a migration year of 1859 backwards up to five years.

Are you by any chance looking for Native blood??
I see a Native blood Mary Ann Ellis 20 years old in an 1861 census.
take care daisyhalo@yahoo.com
