cemeteries in eastern Kansas

I am looking for information on the Letts and Lovell families and where they originated from back to the 1800's.

I currently have the Harris Family book. Most of the family is in Kansas. My grandfather was John Gould Harris who lived in the Wamego area. I also have been working on my Rains lineage about 12 years. I share info!

While I live in Madera County,Ca. I work in Fresno County, CA and am available for obit lookups at the Fresno County Library. I typically go there every other week, so bear with me if you make a request between those weeks. The Fresno County Library has the past 100 years of the Fresno Bee on microfilm in it's entirety including advertisements. I would need full names and DOD's for a microfilm lookup. They are also carding all the obits as well, so there's a good chance the info is pasted onto a card for easy photo copying. I am availavle on a limited basis to visit a cemetery within Fresno County but at this time, I do not have the ability to take photos and submit (like into FAG). I can make calls to the cemeteries to gain info if you do not have all inclusive long distance calling. As an FYI, the Fresno County Hall of Records charges between 12.00 and 18.00 for a birth, death, marriage certificate. One must sign in person that they are related to the person they are requesting info for. If you are needing those docs from Fresno County, I can e-mail you a copy of the form you would need to submit to them PLUS you would have to have the docs notarized as well. I truly miss RAOGK and was a volunteer with them all of last year and was successful in nearly every request. Looking forward to being able to help once again. Many thanks, Jan
